This course focuses on teaching you and your horse the skills you will need in an intermediate trail course that will require walk, trot, and lope. We start to introduce a few more complex backing maneuvers, more variations of trot overs, as well as basic lope overs. You should have completed the courses on Beginner and Intermediate Western Horsemanship Patterns as well as Beginner Trail to be successful at this course. Your goal at the end of the course is to be able to compete at a local show in an actual trail class that is a step up from the basic trail class you competed at as a beginner.
