About

I am a rider/trainer who liked to do all events growing up (trail riding, western showing and AQHA style english events) and warped into a barrel racer in college when I moved to an area with limited show opportunities. I have played with sorting classes, low level jumping, western dressage, working equitation, and ranch versatility events as well. My goal in this website and course options is to give equestrians as many choices to the path of quality horsemanship as I had. There is a lack of interdisciplinary crossover in the equestrian world due to specialization at the high performance levels that does not need to be there at the intermediate levels. What the "old timers" were so smart at was researching and always looking to improve performance (even if it is out of their specialized discipline) and so that is my model in this website and my definition of a true horseman. I like to say that I love to create all-around horses and riders who can then go on to specialize. I will use cross disciplinary courses to improve your riding, strength, and mental perception of horses which will in turn affect your horse's performance through better communication and training. I have included a sample of courses here so that you can see just a taste of what awaits.
